Just after the Kalindi Express derailment attempt in Kanpur, another train derailment attempt emerged in Rajasthan. On Sunday, miscreants tried to derail a train near Ajmer.
The incident occurred on a train traveling from Ajmer’s Phulera to Ahmedabad. Near Saradhana station, the engine collided with concrete blocks placed on the tracks, causing an abrupt stop.
The blocks were discovered in Saradhan Bangad village. Executive Engineer Ravi Prakash Bundela reported that two blocks were found on different spots. Railway officials and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) patrolled the area, finding no further issues.

Bangar village station staff confirmed the blocks were struck by the train. A report has been filed with Mangaliyawas police, and a case has been registered under the Railways Act for damaging public property. Police Officer Ramswaroop is investigating.
This incident follows a similar attempt in Kanpur, where the Kalindi Express narrowly avoided derailment after hitting a gas cylinder. The discovery of matchsticks, a petrol bottle, and gunpowder at the scene suggests a serious conspiracy.
Kanpur Police have detained six suspects, including two with criminal records, and have formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to explore connections to the Sabarmati Express derailment.
