Tragic Death Of 52-Year-Old Man
A tragic incident unfolded at a garba event held in the Princess Park Society of Sector 87 in Faridabad, near Delhi. The event took a devastating turn when a 52-year-old man named Prem Mehta lost his life following a confrontation with two neighbors who had allegedly harassed his 25-year-old daughter.
The incident occurred during a dandiya dance at the residential complex. Two young men from the same society reportedly approached Mr. Mehta’s daughter, asking for her contact number and even requesting her to dance with them. This unwelcome advance led to a heated altercation between the Mehta family and the two men.
Mr. Mehta, along with his wife and son, confronted the men to question their actions regarding his daughter. A video of the incident captured the two parties engaging in a physical altercation, grabbing collars and pushing each other.
Unfortunately, the confrontation took a tragic turn when the men pushed Mr. Mehta to the ground, resulting in him losing consciousness. He was rushed to a hospital, where medical professionals declared him brought dead.
A police case has been registered following a complaint filed by Mr. Mehta’s family. They allege that their daughter was harassed, and the 52-year-old man was assaulted by the two men. An autopsy is currently underway, and the police are actively investigating the matter, as reported by police officer Jameel Khan.
