Tiger Shroff Firing Case: 12th Accused Arrested In Sonipat; Police Probe Money Trail

The Mumbai Police have arrested another accused from Haryana’s Sonipat district in connection with the firing incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car, taking the total number of arrests to 12. Nine of the accused reportedly belong to Sonipat.

The latest accused, identified as Amar, was arrested from Rohna village. Investigators are examining his financial transactions and alleged links with other suspects to establish the sequence of events.

According to the police investigation, Amar is a friend and neighbour of Kunal, an accused arrested earlier.

Police found that Kunal allegedly transferred Rs 40,000 to Amar’s bank account. Amar later transferred Rs 12,000 to another accused, Radha, allegedly on Kunal’s instructions.

The police are scrutinising these transactions to establish the purpose of the payments and identify the alleged financial links between the suspects.

Amar, who studied up to Class 10, works at a supplements shop. His parents reportedly work as daily-wage labourers.

Following his arrest, the police produced him before a court and are seeking transit remand to take him to Mumbai for further questioning.

However, Amar’s family has claimed that he is innocent and alleged that the police have falsely implicated him in the case.

Investigators are examining whether encrypted messaging platforms, including Signal and Zangi, played a role in the alleged conspiracy.

The accused reportedly used these applications to communicate over the past eight months. However, decoding their encrypted exchanges has posed a challenge for investigators.

The police are analysing digital communications, financial records and personal connections to uncover the alleged conspiracy and determine each suspect’s role.
