Those Questioning NDA’s Stability Will See Defection In Their Camp: Ramdas Athawale

Republican Party of India Chief Ramdas Athawale reacted to the comments of the opposition doubting the stability of the NDA government.  Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi and Union Council of Minister, Ramdas Athawale said that opposition that is doubting the stability of the NDA alliance will see defection and fracas in their camp.

He also asserted that the BJP-led NDA enjoys a decent majority with the support of 302 parliamentary members.

The Chief of the Republican Party of India stated while talking to a news agency IANS.

Attacking the opposition, Ramdas said that opposition parties came together to defeat the BJP and NDA. However, they failed in their efforts as the public gave its mandate in favour of the NDA with a clear majority.

Ramdas Athawale, a key figure in the NDA coalition, affirmed his ministerial position in the upcoming Modi 3.0 Cabinet. He attended a tea party at the Prime Minister’s residence, where strategies for national development were discussed.

Athawale expressed confidence in PM Modi’s leadership, emphasizing the public’s grave mandate for the BJP-led NDA government despite opposition efforts.

He highlighted the NDA’s majority in the recent elections, dismissing claims of government instability. Athawale pointed out the coalition’s strength, with 302 seats, and predicted potential alliances with former adversaries disillusioned by opposition tactics.

Regarding opposition scepticism, Athawale refuted doubts about the NDA government’s stability, citing past coalition successes and the unyielding support for PM Modi.

He criticized the opposition’s strategy of forming alliances solely to challenge PM Modi, asserting that the BJP-led NDA government is steadfast and committed to fulfilling its five-year term.
