The Bharatiya Janata Party Registers A Star In The Name Of Atal Bihari Vajpayee

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP): has named a star after the recipient of the “Bharat Ratna”. This was done on the occasion of the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary. It was observed as “Good Governance Day” across the nation, according to The Bharatiya Janata Party president Shirish Boralkar on Sunday.

The distance of the star from Earth is 392.01 light years. It is the closest star to the Sun.

“The star with the coordinates 14 05 25.3 -60 28 51.9 has been registered in the International Space Registry on December 25, 2022. The star gets the name Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. Registration Number CX16408US,” read the International Space Registry certificate.

Vajpayee served as the Prime Minister from May 16, 1996 to June 1, 1996 and again from March 19, 1998 to May 22, 2004.

He also served as India’s External Affairs Minister in the cabinet of Prime Minister Moraji Desai from 1977 to 1979. He passed away at AIIMS hospital in Delhi on August 16, 2018.

PM Dedicated A Day For Ex- PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that 25th December will be observed as “Good Governance Day”. This will be done annually as a respect to the outgoing leader.

Today, inclusive development and consistent systemic reforms brought massive changes in all sections and sectors. Making a positive impact in the lives of many, the Lt Governor observed.

“Hon’ble Prime Minister has ensured Good Governance translates into inclusive growth for all and socio-economic development raises people’s living standard. Disparities across the sectors have been removed and the government is successfully fulfilling people’s aspirations”.

The fourth Industrial revolution, transformation in agriculture and National Education Policy has opened new vistas of endless possibilities in livelihood generation and economic & individual growth. Today, India has become the fastest-growing economy and confident to achieve bigger goals, he added.

Jammu Kashmir is also on the move with the commitment to establish peace and bring prosperity in lives of all. We are developing Aspirational Town & Aspirational Panchayat to ensure benefits of progress and development in the country reach every household in the UT, the Lt Governor further added.
