Terrorist Killed In Encounter In Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama

One terrorist was killed on Thursday in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Following intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists, the Army and police had started a cordon and search operation.

The search operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists fired upon the forces, who retaliated.

Police said the body of an unidentified terrorist was retrieved from the encounter site in the Frassipora village of Pulwama.

Taking to X, Kashmir police posted, “The identity of the terrorist is being ascertained. Arms, ammunition, and incriminating material have been recovered from the site.”

Police further stated that a search operation is still on.
