Telangana: 5 Dead, Including Two Children, In a Tragic Road Accident

Late on Sunday night, a devastating road accident occurred in Miryalaguda, Telangana, resulting in the loss of five lives, including two children. Additionally, a woman was also critically injured. The incident took place in Krishna Nagar colony on the Narketpally-Addanki highway, where an unidentified truck collided with the victim’s car.

The deceased, hailing from Nandipadu village in Miryalaguda Mandal, were identified as Cherukupalli Mahesh (32), his wife Jyothi (30), their daughter Rishita (6), Mahesh’s co-brother B. Mahender (32), and his son Leonis (2). The family had been returning home after visiting a temple in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, and was just minutes away from reaching their destination.

Mahesh’s wife, Madhavi, sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Miryalguda Area Hospital before being later transferred to a private hospital for further treatment. According to the police, the truck responsible for the collision fled the scene after hitting the car. An investigation has been initiated to identify and locate the truck involved in this tragic incident.
