Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Advocates Unity for INDIA Bloc Triumph in Parliamentary Elections

DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin asserted on Friday that the leaders of the INDIA bloc should recognize the BJP’s apprehension when faced with the potential success of the opposition alliance, even at the level of a mayor’s election in Chandigarh. Stalin emphasized that unity among alliance members can displace the saffron party from power at the Centre.

Speaking at the ‘Democracy will win’ conference organized by the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, Stalin conveyed that the future pages of history should reflect the formation of the INDIA alliance and its ascendancy to power at the Centre. He highlighted the significance of the alliance and its potential to bring about change.

Stalin referred to the postponement of the Chandigarh mayor polls and the alliance between the AAP and Congress, pointing out that the BJP-led Central government canceled the election due to the anticipated victory. He urged the INDIA alliance leaders to recognize the BJP’s anxiety and use this opportunity to stay united for the defeat of the BJP.

Emphasizing the need for unity, Stalin stated, “If we remain united, the BJP will be defeated. Democracy will win, and time will say that.” He also addressed the political scenario in Tamil Nadu, stating that the BJP is not a significant presence in the state. However, he stressed the importance of defeating the BJP in other states, calling for collective efforts and unity to ensure the victory of democracy.

Stalin praised Thol Thirumavalavan as a strong leader dedicated to the ideology of social justice. He highlighted the enduring bond between the DMK and VCK, transcending political boundaries and based on shared ideology.
