Senior spiritual leader Swami Abhishek Brahmachari organised the Shri Vidya Koti Kumkumarchana Mahayagya in Bengaluru, marking a significant religious event aimed at collective prayer and social upliftment.
The Mahayagya witnessed the participation of more than 10,000 women, who performed worship using vermilion with prayers dedicated to national progress, world peace, and the welfare of the underprivileged.
Swami Abhishek Brahmachari has been conducting Mahayagyas across the country, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, to seek prosperity and harmony for the nation. The Bengaluru event marked the 41st Mahayagya led by the spiritual leader, underlining the continuity of his nationwide spiritual mission.
During the Mahayagya, Swami Abhishek Brahmachari offered special prayers to Goddess Lalita, seeking prosperity and well-being for the country. He said the rituals aimed to promote the nation’s collective growth and strengthen spiritual values.
He also appealed to Goddess Lalita for the upliftment and economic progress of the poor and marginalised sections of society. According to him, spiritual efforts must go hand in hand with compassion and concern for those in need.
Addressing devotees, Swami Abhishek Brahmachari stated that Sanatan Dharma remains the core strength of India and continues to guide the nation’s cultural and spiritual identity. He emphasised that India’s traditions promote unity, resilience, and moral values that have endured for centuries.
He further remarked that the power and significance of India’s vermilion, used symbolically in religious rituals, are now recognised across the world.
The widespread participation of women in the Kumkumarchana, he said, reflected the deep-rooted faith and collective spiritual energy of the country.
The Mahayagya in Bengaluru reinforced Swami Abhishek Brahmachari’s vision of using spiritual practices to inspire peace, prosperity, and social harmony. The event concluded with prayers for global well-being and a renewed commitment to spiritual values and national unity.
