Know about Suryavanshi Rajputs

The Rajput community can be divided into 3 parts broadly. The Suryavanshis which means “House of the Sun”, people – as Surya means the sun. They are the descendents of Lord Ram. The counterpart is of Chandravanshis which means “House of the moon”, people – as chandra which means the moon. They are the descendants of Lord Krishna. The third group is of ‘Agnikula’ which means “Family of the Fire God”. This group is the one from which Rajputs that claim to be Kshatriyas are driven.
