Special Arrangements For VIPs And VVIPs At Maha Kumbh 2025

The Prayagraj Mela Authority is gearing up to host Maha Kumbh 2025 with elaborate preparations for VIP and VVIP attendees, including judges from the Supreme Court and High Court, as well as other dignitaries. The grand event, spanning 45 days from January 13 (Paush Purnima) to February 26 (Mahashivratri), expect to attract millions of visitors. To ensure dignitaries receive top-notch hospitality, extensive protocol and accommodation arrangements are underway.

A dedicated 24×7 control room has been established to oversee operations, staffed with trained personnel and officials. The government has appointed three Additional District Magistrates (ADMs), three Sub-District Magistrates (SDMs), three Naib Tehsildars, and four Lekhpals to manage protocol arrangements. Deputy Collector-level officers will act as Sector Magistrates across 25 sectors, ensuring smooth execution of plans.

Luxury Accommodations And Tent City

The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, in collaboration with private service providers. It is preparing a Tent City comprising 110 luxury cottages and an additional 2,200 cottages. Circuit houses with a capacity for 250 tents are being established across five locations within the fair area.

Exclusive Amenities For VIPs And VVIPs

To cater to the unique needs of VIPs and VVIPs, the following facilities are being arranged:

  • Bathing Ghats and River Services: A designated VIP ghat with jetty and motorboat services will provide convenient river access.
  • Reserved Accommodations: A total of 314 rooms in 21 guest houses reserve for dignitaries, ensuring a comfortable stay.
  • Camps and Cottages: Various departments, including 15 Central Government and 21 Uttar Pradesh Government units, are setting up camps with cottages for visiting officials.

Support Staff And Guides

To assist distinguish guests, 50 tourist guides and additional support staff deploy across key locations. These personnel will ensure seamless navigation and assistance for dignitaries during the event.

With meticulous planning and supervision, the Prayagraj Mela Authority aims to create an enriching experience for all attendees of Maha Kumbh 2025, especially its esteemed guests. The elaborate arrangements underscore the government’s commitment to the success of this iconic spiritual gathering.
