SP Singh Baghel Praises Maha Kumbh’s Service Efforts; Rebuffs Opposition Claims

Union Minister of State SP Singh Baghel expressed his deep gratitude after taking a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh and commended the remarkable service contributions of ISKCON and the Adani Group. He also dismissed opposition allegations of mismanagement, describing the event as a monumental success.

Speaking about his personal experience, Baghel shared, “Today, I consider myself truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to take a holy dip in the Maha Kumbh. It is God’s grace and a defining moment in my life.” His words reflected the spiritual significance of the event, as he emphasized that Maha Kumbh 2025 is more than just a religious gathering it is a celebration of service, cooperation, and dedication that embodies the values of Indian culture.

Service And Dedication: The Core Of Maha Kumbh

Baghel further highlighted the role of service in the Maha Kumbh, praising the efforts of organizations such as ISKCON and the Adani Group. He noted, “The faith-driven and service-oriented tradition, embraced by millions of devotees, beautifully showcases the grandeur of Indian culture.”

The Minister specifically praised ISKCON and the Adani Group for their significant contributions, including providing Mahaprasad to one lakh people every day. He explained, “Thanks to the cooperation of the Adani Group, ISKCON is serving Mahaprasad, underscoring the sanctity of the Kumbh.”

Addressing the opposition’s criticisms regarding the event’s management, Baghel responded firmly. “To the opposition, I say that when 200-300 guests attend a wedding, the hosts get nervous and their hearts race. Now, consider that 50 crore people have come to this Kumbh. This is a monumental success, a historic event under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,” he said. Baghel emphasized that the Maha Kumbh has exceeded all previous records and has been a resounding success.

Mahaprasad And India’s Tradition Of Service

Baghel also pointed out that the tradition of Mahaprasad sacred food offered to devotees is a reflection of India’s rich culture of service. He said, “We call it Mahaprasad because, in India, 80 crore people are given 5 kg of wheat and rice-free every month.

This is a living reflection of India’s rich tradition of service and commitment.” His comments underscored the enduring commitment to service, exemplified by the Maha Kumbh and the larger efforts of the Indian government.

SP Singh Baghel’s words echoed the spirit of cooperation and dedication that defines the Maha Kumbh 2025. He praised the collective efforts of the organizations and leaders involved, reaffirming that the event has been a historic and spiritual milestone, deeply rooted in India’s rich tradition of service.
