Sanjay Nishad Highlights Political Influence Of Nishad Community At Conclave

Sanjay Nishad delivered a strong message about community politics while speaking at the Bharat Express Conclave.

The Nishad Party leader emphasised the rising influence of the Nishad community in national and state politics. He argued that the community plays a decisive role in shaping electoral outcomes.

Nishad said the support of the community strengthens political leadership. At the same time, he warned that ignoring their interests could affect political equations. He urged members of the community to remain united and politically conscious.

During his remarks, Nishad praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for recognising the aspirations of marginalised groups. He said the central government has introduced policies aimed at improving the livelihoods of fishermen and river-based communities.

According to him, such initiatives have expanded opportunities for people engaged in traditional occupations.

Nishad also acknowledged the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He described the chief minister as a leader who has consistently raised issues concerning the Nishad community.

Sanjay Nishad stated that Adityanath had earlier supported the demand for granting Scheduled Caste status to the community. He added that the community hopes the demand will eventually receive wider support.

The Nishad leader emphasised that his community should not be viewed merely as a vote bank. Instead, he said they expect meaningful participation in governance and development.

He urged younger members of the community to focus on education and social advancement.

Sanjay Nishad also highlighted the political journey of the Nishad Party, which works to represent communities traditionally linked with rivers and fishing occupations.

The party aims to strengthen the voice of groups such as Nishads, Mallahs and Kewats within the political system.

Political observers say his remarks underline the continuing importance of caste-based mobilisation in Uttar Pradesh politics.

The Nishad community, which holds significant demographic strength in several districts, continues to influence electoral calculations across the state.
