Salon Owner In Badaun Kills Two Children Causing Unrest In The Region

There was trouble in the neighborhood because a salon owner killed two children who lived next door. On Tuesday night around 8 pm, the salon owner, named Mohd Sajid, who is 22 years old, went into the house of his neighbor, Vinod Thakur, who works as a contractor. Sajid used a sharp object to cut the throats of Vinod Thakur’s sons, Ayush, who was 13, and Ahaan, who was 6 years old.

Sajid also attacked Vindo’s third son Piyush, who was admitted to the hospital with minor wounds.

Locals burned down stores shortly after the incident and demanded that the accused be taken into custody right away. Sajid was later killed by police in an encounter.

“Today evening an unfortunate incident took place in which two children were killed. The police reached the spot and the accused tried to escape. We chased the accused. He fired at the police and was killed in retaliatory fire. The accused died on the spot. The police are investigating the case,” Bareilly Inspector-General of Police Rakesh Kumar told ANI news agency.

In Badaun City’s Baba colony, the accused owned a salon. It is still unclear why two children were brutally murdered. According to the most recent information, the deceased’s father stated that two people were involved in the murder and that they are still unsure of the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“In the FIR, the family of the deceased children has also named the brother, Javed of the accused. Teams are working to find him and he will be arrested soon. According to the family, the accused had demanded ₹5,000 from the father of the deceased children,” the SSP Badaun told ANI.

In the meanwhile, the Baba colony, which is close to the Mandi Samiti outpost, has more police presence. Manoj Kumar, the district magistrate of Budaun, has urged people to keep the peace.
