Revolutionizing Education: Adani foundation’s ‘Bala Painting’ initiative in Gauriganj Government Schools

The Adani Foundation has ingeniously utilized “Bala Painting” as an educational tool in 10 government schools located in Gauriganj. This innovative approach seeks to enrich the learning experience by imparting educational information on walls through artistic paintings. Recognizing the swift learning capacity of children through visual aids, this initiative has had a positive influence on students in the Tikariya Panchayat, particularly those within the vicinity of the Adani ACC Cement Plant.

The murals adorning school walls have not only aesthetically transformed the entire school environment but also serve as unconventional educational mediums, delivering diverse information to students. Subjects such as mathematics, science, general knowledge, and even yoga are effectively communicated through these wall paintings, fostering heightened interest and enthusiasm for education among the children.

Adani Foundation’s commitment is leaving a lasting positive impact on education in these schools, contributing to the creation of an appealing and conducive learning atmosphere. Established in 1996 as the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of the Adani Group, the Foundation actively operates in 2,409 villages across 16 states.

By integrating its efforts across education, health, sustainable livelihood development, and community infrastructure, the Foundation significantly impacts the lives of 3.7 million people annually. With a dedicated focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Foundation aims to instigate long-term behavioral changes in society, placing emphasis on inclusive and sustainable development. Key projects, including those addressing nutrition, cleanliness, empowerment, and Udaan, underscore the Foundation’s multifaceted contributions to societal well-being.
