Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Trust Expenditure & Progress

Champat Rai said the trust formed on February 5, 2020. Since then, it has spent ₹2,150 crore on construction and related expenses.

Specifically, the trust paid ₹14 crore in labor cess, ₹7.4 crore in ESI, ₹4 crore in insurance, and ₹29 crore in stamp duty for land acquisition in Ayodhya.

Additionally, it paid ₹10 crore in electricity bills. It also paid ₹14.9 crore in royalty to state governments, including Rajasthan, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.

Importantly, the construction is entirely funded by public donations.

The trust has not taken any financial help from the government. L&T has received ₹1,200 crore for construction work.

Furthermore, the trust received 944 kg of silver in donations, which was found to be 92% pure. The silver has already been melted and converted into 20 kg bricks.

The temple construction will finish by June 2025, while the parkota (rampart) is 60% complete and should finish by October 2025.

The temple will host several religious events on Ram Navami. Notably, a Surya Tilak will appear on Ram Lalla’s forehead for four minutes at 12:04 pm on Ram Navami.

Devotees can watch this event on more than 50 screens across Ayodhya.

The idols of the temple will be installed by April 30. However, a separate meeting will decide the date for the puja and pran pratishtha.

Meanwhile, an Atul Krishna Katha will take place at Angad Tila from March 30 to April 6.

The temple will also hold a Navan Parayan of Valmiki Ramayana and Ram Charit Manas, along with Durga Puja and a fire ritual with one lakh mantras.

The trust will update information about the temple’s jewelry and rituals on its official website.
