The consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is set to be a momentous occasion, with preparations underway to ensure widespread access to the historic event. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) members have announced that the proceedings will be broadcast live on LED screens at 283 locations throughout Ayodhya. Retired Captain Satya Prakash Mishra, a VHP office bearer, shared this information at the VHP camp in the Magh Mela area, emphasizing the significance of enabling people to witness the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the idol of Lord Ram Lalla.
To enhance the celebratory atmosphere, a ‘bhajan’ program and aarti are scheduled from 11 am to 1 pm at the VHP offices in Kesar Bhawan and Mahavir Bhawan. Later in the evening, a ‘Deepotsav’ will be organized, featuring an environmentally friendly fireworks display.

Expressing the widespread enthusiasm among the people of Prayagraj, Mishra remarked that the realization of the dream of the Ram temple has created a Diwali-like atmosphere in the holy city.
In response to the VHP’s call, Ram devotees have identified 283 locations where the consecration ceremony will be televised on LED screens. As a part of the festivities, loudspeakers have been strategically placed across the city, including prominent areas like Chowk and Ghantaghar, playing Ram bhajans. Sunday saw processions at various locations in Ayodhya, further adding to the festive fervor.
The city is adorned with saffron flags bearing the inscription ‘Jai Shri Ram’ outside houses, underscoring the widespread participation and support for this momentous occasion. Additionally, the administration has arranged special lighting at key intersections, contributing to the vibrant and celebratory atmosphere surrounding the consecration ceremony.
