Tomorrow marks the commencement of the consecration ritual for the idol of Lord Shri Ram in the Ayodhya Ram temple. In Hindu tradition, this significant event involves the Pran-Pratishtha, a sacred process wherein divine powers are infused into the idol, essentially bringing it to life. The construction of the idol will culminate in the absorption of all the divine energies associated with Lord Shri Ram on January 22, 2024.
The intricate process of Pran-Pratishtha finds its roots in the Vedas and is elaborately detailed in various Puranas, including the Matsya Purana, Vamana Purana, and Narad Purana.

According to religious scriptures and revered teachers, mantras are chanted to invoke the deity to whom the idol belongs, leading to the absorption of the deity’s divine powers into the idol.
Following the consecration of Lord Shri Ram’s idol, it is anticipated that the supernatural powers associated with Lord Ram will be incorporated into the idol through this sacred ritual.
The consecration of the idol holds special significance due to its alignment with several auspicious factors. The inauguration of the Ram Mandir temple coincides with a propitious period in Sanatan Dharma, as organizing religious functions during the month of Pausha is considered highly auspicious.
On January 22, 2024, the Dwadashi date of Shukla Paksha aligns, with the Sun God situated in the Uttarashada Nakshatra and the Moon God in the Mrigashirsha Nakshatra. Additionally, the formation of Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and Amrit Siddhi Yoga on this day adds to the overall auspiciousness.
