Sharing the update on social media platform X, Sharma said, “I had the honour of paying a courtesy visit to the esteemed Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, and received his inspiring guidance.”

The Chief Minister briefed Shah on various innovations and public welfare initiatives being carried out by the double-engine government in Rajasthan.

He also highlighted a proposed exhibition aimed at showcasing judicial reforms and the resulting positive public sentiment following the implementation of new laws in the state.

Sharma emphasised that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and with Amit Shah’s continued support, Rajasthan is making remarkable strides toward becoming a model state in the ‘New India’ vision.

During the meeting, Sharma also raised the issue of long-pending board appointments. He discussed the need for timely appointments at the state, division, and district levels.

The talks followed the recent appointment of Arun Chaturvedi, former BJP president, as the Chairperson of the Finance Board.

Talks with Hardeep Singh Puri on Refinery and Energy Projects

In a separate meeting, CM Sharma called on Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri.

“We held an in-depth discussion regarding the early commencement of the Rajasthan Refinery and various projects related to the petroleum and gas sector in the state,” Sharma posted on X.

The discussion focused on expediting the refinery project and boosting energy infrastructure in Rajasthan to attract investment and generate employment.

Ongoing Dialogue with Centre to Accelerate Growth

The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to accelerating development through continuous engagement with Union Ministers under the vision of ‘Aapno Agrani Rajasthan’.

Earlier meetings had covered critical sectors such as water, electricity, urban development, mining, and the environment.

Before he visited Delhi, Sharma participated in key public events in Rajasthan. In Banswara, he attended a state-level felicitation programme for farmers.

Later, in Salumber, he addressed devotees at the 45-day Shravan Kumbh Mahotsav at Dhaulagarh Dham in Kenar village.

Highlighting India’s rich cultural heritage, Sharma said that sages and saints have played a crucial role in shaping the nation’s values and spreading the message of brotherhood.

Sharma announced the development of a Tribal Tourism Circuit as part of the 2025–26 state budget. The circuit will cover major tribal spiritual and cultural sites such as Tripura Sundari, Mangarh Dham, Beneshwar Dham, Sitamata Sanctuary, Rishabhdev, Gautameshwar Temple, and Matrikundiya.

He also noted that most dams in the state have reached full capacity following excellent rainfall this monsoon season, which will significantly benefit farmers.

“The prosperity of farmers, youth, women, and the poor will drive the overall development of the state and the country,” Sharma affirmed.
