In a recent development, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “murkho ke sardar” remark against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, expressing disappointment in the PM’s use of such language given his position. Gehlot also suggested a conspiracy around the “Lal Diary,” alleging involvement of the Home Ministry. The political spat escalated as sacked minister Rajendra Gudha claimed possession of a red diary with financial transactions against Gehlot.

The war of words extended between Congress and BJP leaders over PM Modi’s remarks, with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel accusing the PM of arrogance. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma dismissed the idea that Rahul Gandhi represents the public, stating it would be a public from another planet. Amidst the political drama, Amin Pathan, former BJP state president, joined the Congress in the presence of Gehlot and party in-charge Sukjinder Singh Randhawa.
