Pune Businessman’s Murder: CCTV Footage Strengthens Case Against Fiancée

The investigation into the death of Pune businessman Ketan Agarwal’s son, Ketan Agarwal, at Lohagad Fort has revealed fresh details, strengthening the murder case against his fiancée, Siya Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Babulal Chaudhary.

Police initially treated the incident as an accidental fall. The probe later pointed towards a planned murder.

Investigators now believe the accused carefully designed the crime and attempted to portray it as a trekking mishap.

Freshly surfaced CCTV footage reportedly shows Goyal meeting Chaudhary at a café in Pune before Agarwal’s death.

According to reports, the meeting took place on June 18, where the duo allegedly discussed and finalised their plan.

Authorities stated that the accused identified specific points at Lohagad Fort from where Agarwal could be pushed.

Investigators allege that Goyal accompanied Agarwal to the fort while Chaudhary secretly followed them during the trek.

Police said the incident occurred between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM.

Following the fall, Goyal informed Agarwal’s family that he had slipped into a gorge during the trek.

Investigators, however, maintain that the victim did not fall accidentally. They allege that the accused pushed him from behind and later attempted to conceal the crime by presenting it as an accident.

Both Goyal and Chaudhary have been charged with murder and criminal conspiracy.

Police recently confronted the two accused during questioning after taking them into custody for 7 days.

Officers continued the interrogation late into the night as they sought further details about the alleged conspiracy.

Agarwal, 26, belonged to a prominent Pune business family. He became engaged to Goyal in February this year. Their families had reportedly planned an elaborate wedding for November, with arrangements including palace venues and private aircraft.

The investigation continues as police examine additional evidence linked to the case.
