The government has taken a strict stance regarding the investment of more than Rs. 80 crores of hundreds of teachers and employees appointed after April 1, 2005 in aided secondary schools in the accounts of private companies from the level of the District School Inspector’s office without their consent.
Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar directed Director of Secondary Education Dr. Mahendra Dev to investigate.
The Director of Secondary Education, while investigating the Divisional Deputy Education Director (Secondary) RN Vishwakarma and the Finance and Accounts Officer of the DIOS office, took departmental action against the officers and employees guilty of investing money in private companies and made the investigation report available by November 7.
