Smriti Irani is trailing Kishori Lal Sharma by more than 80,000 votes.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra stated she never had any doubts that Kishori Lal Sharma would win the Lok Sabha elections, despite her significant campaigning for the Congress party’s candidate in the pocket borough where her family resides.

“Kishori bhaiya, I always knew you would prevail. I never had any doubts.” My sincere congrats to you and my cherished siblings,” she continued.

In the 2019 general elections, Smriti Irani defeated Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Amethi, taking the seat away from the Gandhi family for the first time in more than 20 years. Rahul Gandhi ran for office this time around from the Wayanad and Rae Bareli constituencies, which belong to his mother.
Rahul Gandhi will win both seats with overwhelming margins.
