Prime Minister Modi Participated In Scheduled Programs In West Bengal

Prime Minister Modi: On the day of the demise of his mother Heeraben Modi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the scheduled programs in West Bengal on Friday, 30 December 2022, through video conferencing.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat train in Kolkata through video conferencing and dedicated it to the nation. He had already announced this through his official Twitter handle.

Along with this, PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the metro project in Kolkata through video conferencing.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee said that Prime Minister Modi today is a very sad day for you. I will pray to God to give you the strength to bear this sorrow. I would request you to keep this program short as you have just come from your mother’s funeral.

Prime Minister Modi was going to West Bengal on a one-day visit on Friday. These programs include the launch of major projects related to connectivity and the meeting of the National Ganga Council.
