Prime Minister Modi On Bengal And Jharkhand Visit Revives The Sindri Fertiliser Project

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting the states of West Bengal and Jharkhand. The Prime Minister launched multiple ₹17,600 crore development projects in Sindri, Jharkhand. The aforementioned projects involve noteworthy advancements like the enlargement of the Sone Nagar-Andal third and fourth lines, the first and second lines of Tori-Shivpur, and the third line of Biratoli-Shivpur, which is a component of the Tori-Shivpur Project. New rail lines like the Dhanbad-Chandrapura line and the Mohanpur-Hansdiha line will also be inaugurated.

Modi Ki Guarantee in action

Today, PM will dedicate the Sindri Fertiliser Plant to the nation. It had remained shut for a long time before Modi Govt decided to revive it. This is the 3rd fertiliser plant to be revived in the country after revival of fertiliser plants in Gorakhpur and Ramagundam.

During the event, the Prime Minister will also flag off three trains: a long-haul freight train leaving from Shivpur station, the daily MEMU Train Service between Tatanagar and Badampahar, and the Deoghar-Dibrugarh service.

Bengal visit of PM Modi scheduled

The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit West Bengal later today. The prime minister will dedicate several development projects pertaining to ports, rail, oil pipelines, LPG supply, and wastewater treatment in Bengal’s Arambagh. He will also lay the foundation stone for these projects.
The Prime Minister will unveil a number of projects, including the ₹2,790 crore, 518-kilometer Haldia-Barauni Crude Oil Pipeline, developed by Indian Oil.
The Prime Minister will also lay the cornerstone for several projects that will cost about ₹1000 crore and improve the infrastructure at Kolkata’s Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port.

Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station

In addition, the Prime Minister will lay the cornerstone for the Phase II of the Raghunathpur Thermal Power Station (2×660 MW), which is located in the Purulia district of Raghunathpur. The Damodar Valley Corporation is in charge of this coal-based thermal power project, which will make use of supercritical technology, which is incredibly efficient. The construction of this new plant is a major step in strengthening the nation’s energy security.
