President Murmu Extends Ram Navami Greetings; Highlights The Festival’s Significance

President Droupadi Murmu extended her heartfelt greetings to the nation on the occasion of Ram Navami, emphasizing the significance of the festival.

She conveyed that the celebration represents the ideals of righteousness, justice, and duty-consciousness.

“Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all countrymen on the holy festival of Ram Navami. This festival conveys the message of righteousness, justice, and duty-consciousness,” President Murmu wrote on the social media platform X.

President Murmu Hails Lord Rama As Idol Of Sacrifice

The President further stated that Lord Rama epitomized the highest ideals of sacrifice, commitment, harmony, and valor for humankind. She also highlighted his concept of good governance, known as Ram Rajya, as an ideal to aspire to.

“My good wishes are that on this auspicious occasion, all countrymen resolve to work unitedly for the construction of a developed India,” she added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his warm greetings to the nation on Ram Navami. He expressed hope that the festival would inspire fresh enthusiasm and renewed energy among the people of India.

May this holy and sacred occasion of Lord Shri Ram’s birth festival bring new consciousness and fresh enthusiasm into all your lives and continuously provide new energy to the resolve of a strong, prosperous, and capable India. Jai Shri Ram!” PM Modi wrote on X.

Celebrations At Ram Janmabhoomi Temple In Ayodhya

The Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya was beautifully adorned with vibrant flowers and dazzling lights, drawing thousands of devotees from across the country to celebrate the birth of Lord Ram.

Devotees were seen offering prayers and experiencing the festive spirit of Ram Navami.

One devotee expressed his satisfaction, saying, “I am feeling very good after coming here. The arrangements here are very good.”

Another devotee who traveled from Varanasi shared his experience: “I have come from Varanasi to offer prayers at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on the occasion of Ram Navami.”
