The first convocation ceremony was organized today at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi. President of India Draupadi Murmu was the chief guest in this program. The special guest in the program was Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. University Chancellor Dr. Hari Gautam presided over the program. Chairman, MD and Editor in Chief of Bharat Express News Network Upendra Rai also participated as a guest in this program. Yesterday, Upendra Rai also participated as a special guest in the grand cultural program organized at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University.
Addressing the program organized in the university, special guest Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the oldest scripture of civilization is Veda. Vedas were written in Sanskrit only. Veda is not just a book, it is a great book of all knowledge and in today’s time, the medium to make all those subjects known to everyone is Sanskrit language. At the same time, a copy of Veda worship has become in our society today. There is a need for Sanskrit universities to impart that knowledge.

The convocation ceremony was organized for the first time after the university was recognized as a central university. On this occasion, President Draupadi Murmu also addressed the gathering. In his speech, His Excellency said that Sanskrit grammar is an achievement of unmatched talent, we should be proud of it. At the same time, he also threw light on the depth of Sanskrit language. President Draupadi Murmu also extended his best wishes to the students of SLBS Rashtriya Sanskrit University. He also honored the students.
