Prayagraj Transforms Ahead Of Mahakumbh 2025, Attracts Tourists Worldwide

Prayagraj is witnessing a significant influx of domestic and foreign tourists ahead of Mahakumbh 2025, scheduled for January-February. Pilgrims flock to the Sangam, drawn by both its spiritual significance and the transformative developments under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

International Visitors Praise Development

Among the visitors is a group from Malaysia, who praised the positive changes in the state while bathing and meditating at the Sangam. Additionally, South Indian professionals, including IT experts and chartered accountants, are exploring the city as part of a combined pilgrimage to Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Varanasi.

Tourists express amazement at the rapid development in Uttar Pradesh. Many who visited a decade ago are astonished by the new wide roads and cleanliness. The improved law and order situation has made visitors feel safe, removing hesitations about traveling to the region.

Excitement Builds for Mahakumbh 2025

Rani Nair from Kuala Lumpur shared her excitement after visiting the ‘Lete hua Hanuman’ temple. Her husband, GN Nair, a chartered accountant, is equally impressed with the changes. Rani noted that their relatives abroad are eager to visit Uttar Pradesh.

Rati Devi from Kerala expressed admiration for the law and order situation in the state, stating, “I wish every state had a CM like Yogi.” Gopalakrishnan from Chennai, who began his journey in Ayodhya, is thrilled to witness the Mahakumbh preparations and looks forward to visiting Kashi next.

Two engineers from Mumbai, Harshit Patel and Ram Nayak, also planned a spiritual journey. After visiting Ayodhya, they reached the Sangam and felt blessed. Eager to experience the world-class facilities, they plan to return for Mahakumbh 2025.
