Prayagraj Railway Facilitates Record-Number Of Trains For Devotees At Maha Kumbh

In an impressive display of logistical efficiency, the Prayagraj Railway Division has successfully operated over 700 trains in just two days to facilitate the return of millions of devotees after the Mauni Amavasya festival. With over 400 Mela Special trains running on January 29 and an additional 300 trains on January 30, more than 20 lakh pilgrims were safely transported to their destination stations, ensuring a seamless travel experience.

The record-breaking operation saw the collaboration of multiple stations, including Prayagraj Junction, Naini, Chheoki, Subedarganj, Prayag, Phaphamau, Rambagh, and Jhunsi, handling the heavy flow of passengers. In total, the Prayagraj Railway Division managed both regular and special trains, significantly contributing to the safe movement of devotees during this high-traffic period.

Efficient Crowd Management And Safety Measures

To manage the unprecedented crowd, the Prayagraj Railway Division implemented a well-coordinated strategy involving color-coded shelters, designated holding areas, and organized ticketing systems.

Pilgrims were guided through these arrangements to ensure their safe boarding and prevent overcrowding at stations. Essential amenities, such as drinking water, toilets, and healthcare facilities, were provided across stations, ensuring comfort for the devotees.

Senior railway officials monitored crowd movement closely from control rooms and watch towers to prevent congestion and ensure smooth operations throughout the festival. With the cooperation of the security forces and local authorities, the entire process proceeded without incident.

Devotees Praise Yogi Government’s Arrangements At Maha Kumbh 2025

Devotees from across the country have showered praise on the arrangements made by the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government for the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh 2025. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the administration has ensured that all essential services, including cleanliness, security, and crowd management, were well-executed.

Many visitors have remarked that the arrangements this year surpass those of previous Kumbh and Maha Kumbh festivals. From the infrastructure to the conduct of security personnel, the improvements were evident. Devotees have highlighted the helpful and friendly nature of police and paramilitary forces, contributing to a smooth and organized experience.

Devotees Speak Highly Of Arrangements

Neelu from Indore shared her satisfaction, saying, “Yogi Ji’s dedication is visible. The entire setup is outstanding, and we are facing no difficulties.” Similarly, Shakuntala Sharma from Jaipur praised the Modi-Yogi duo, stating, “The arrangements are beyond expectations, and the bathing experience was hassle-free.”

Alka Sharma, also from Jaipur, addressed misconceptions about long walking distances, saying, “There’s no need to worry. Security personnel assist at every step, and e-rickshaws are available for shorter distances.”

Enhanced Cleanliness, Security, And Order

Several devotees noted that this year’s Maha Kumbh was more organized than ever before. Murarilal Sharma, a seasoned visitor of Kumbh Melas, stated, “Everything has seen noticeable improvements. Despite the large crowd, every process is running smoothly.”

Security and cleanliness were among the top priorities. Namita from Jaipur lauded the police and paramilitary forces for their cooperative and friendly behavior, ensuring the safety and well-being of pilgrims. Radha from Lakhimpur district expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “Yogi Baba has made extraordinary arrangements. Despite the large crowd, everything is proceeding in an orderly manner.”

A Reflection Of Commitment And Preparation

The overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees highlights the success of the Yogi government’s extensive planning and commitment to making Maha Kumbh 2025 a memorable and safe experience for all.

Thanks to meticulous attention to detail, devotees were able to participate in the festival with peace of mind, confident in the government’s ability to handle the massive influx of people while maintaining order and safety.
