Prayagraj: Complex Cancers Can Be Cured Via Immunotherapy And Targeted Therapy, Says Experts

Globe Healthcare, Nirala Nagar, Lucknow, and the Allahabad Nursing Home and Private Doctors Welfare Association, Prayagraj, organised a seminar on Sunday. The event discussed cancer complications and prevention. Renowned doctors from Prayagraj and surrounding areas attended.

Dr Deepak Agarwal, founder and director of Globe Healthcare and a noted gastroenterologist, outlined the hospital’s special cancer services. He said Globe Healthcare is the state’s first comprehensive cancer care hospital. It offers world-class treatment facilities to patients.

Dr Amit Kumar Chaudhary, Head of the Department of Onco-Medicine at Globe Healthcare, said even the most complex cancers can be cured by immunotherapy and targeted therapy.

Senior Radiation Department physician Dr Farhan Ahmed stated that radiation therapy (Synchrony) can treat previously incurable cancers. He added that brachytherapy offers complete and successful treatment for uterine cancer in women.

Dr Swagnik Chakraborty, mouth and throat cancer surgeon at Globe Healthcare, explained advanced surgical techniques and cancer prevention methods.

Meanwhile, Dr Ashish Tandon, President of the Allahabad Nursing Home and Private Doctors Welfare Association, welcomed the gathering. Dr Anurag Aggarwal conducted the seminar.

Senior gastroenterologist and liver specialist Dr Alok Mishra, who played a key role in organising the event, addressed doctors from the city and nearby areas.

Other participants included Dr KP Shrivastava, Dr BB Agrawal, Dr Avnish Saxena, Dr SD Verma, Dr Kartikeya Sharma, Dr Bhagwat Pandey, Dr Ghanshyam Mishra, Dr Bindu Vishwakarma, Dr Shekhar Chaudhary, Dr OP Singh, and Dr Arun Kumar Gupta.

The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr Piyush Dixit, elected president of the association. He expressed gratitude to all the doctors present.
