Power Crises: Many Power Generation Units Has Come To a Halt Due To Less Supply Of Coal

Power crisis will continue in Uttar Pradesh for almost a week. There may be a cut of 5 to 6 hours in rural areas. Failure of main supply for about 6 hours means that including local fault and other works, electricity will not be available in the concerned area for more than 10 hours. Because when 18 hours of electricity supply is claimed, then in most rural areas electricity is available only for 10 to 15 hours.

Is. In two units, there has been a boiler malfunction and in one unit, some other technical fault is being reported. Similarly, production in a unit has come to a halt due to less supply of coal. In such a situation, the total production in the state has declined by about 2.5 thousand MW.
