Post-Mortem Report Of BJP Leader Vijay Kumar Singh Reveals Death During Protest March Caused By Heart Ailments

The Patna district administration has asserted that the post-mortem examination of BJP leader Vijay Kumar Singh, who passed away during the party’s Bihar Vidhan Sabha march last week, revealed that his demise was due to heart disease and related complications. The authorities clarified that when Vijay Singh was brought to the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) on July 13, he was unconscious, and there were no signs of injury on his body.

Contrarily, the BJP contested the findings, maintaining that Singh’s death occurred as a result of a lathi charge, and they accused the post-mortem report of being “manipulated.” According to them, a high-level independent inquiry into the medical report, prepared by PMCH, is required.

In response to the BJP’s claims, the district administration released a statement late Thursday night, stating that the post-mortem report was thoroughly examined by a medical board. Following a histopathological examination, the board concluded that Vijay Singh’s death resulted from heart disease and related complications.

The statement also highlighted that CCTV footage revealed Vijay Singh fainting in the Chajju Bagh area between 1:22 pm and 1:27 pm, while the lathi charge incident took place at the Dak Bungalow crossing area.

The BJP, however, remained adamant in their stance and called for an independent inquiry, alleging that the post-mortem report had been influenced by higher-ups in the state health department. Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Vijay Kumar Sinha, asserted that the health department had previously classified murder cases in Vaishali and Lakhisarai as heart-related ailments, and this situation was not an isolated incident.
