PM Narendra Modi Tops Global Leader Approval Rankings With 68% Rating: Survey

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again secured the top position among global leaders, registering a robust 68 per cent approval rating in the latest survey conducted by Morning Consult, a prominent US-based data intelligence firm.

The survey, carried out between March 2 and March 8, placed PM Modi significantly ahead of his international counterparts, underlining his enduring influence and consistent public support across borders.

Despite serving three consecutive terms, he continues to command remarkable approval both domestically and globally.

In comparison, US President Donald Trump recorded a modest 39 per cent approval rating and did not feature among the top ten leaders.

Switzerland’s President Guy Parmelin and South Korea’s President Lee Jae-myung jointly secured the second position with 62 per cent ratings.

Leaders from the Czech Republic and Argentina followed with 57 per cent and 56 per cent, respectively.

European leaders trailed considerably. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer registered only 24 per cent approval, while French President Emmanuel Macron stood near the bottom with just 17 per cent.

The report also highlighted that PM Modi has consistently dominated these rankings since assuming office.

The latest findings gain added importance as he recently became the longest-serving head of government in India’s history.

PM Modi completed 8,931 days in public office, combining his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister and Prime Minister, entering his 25th year in leadership.

Morning Consult clarified that its ratings derive from a seven-day moving average of adult public opinion across surveyed nations.
