PM Narendra Modi Addresses Rajya Sabha After Lok Sabha Disruptions – LIVE UPDATES HERE

The Rajya Sabha is hearing Prime Minister Narendra Modi after Opposition disruptions prevented him from speaking in the Lok Sabha.

On Wednesday, opposition women MPs gathered near the Prime Minister’s seat with banners ahead of his scheduled address, forcing the House to suspend proceedings for the day.

The Lok Sabha has experienced repeated interruptions this week during the debate on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address.

Despite these challenges, the Rajya Sabha has continued its business without any disruptions, allowing parliamentary discussions to progress smoothly.

During this interval, the Standing Committees will examine the Demands for Grants of various ministries and departments, ensuring detailed review and oversight.

This session remains a key platform for legislative discussion, policy review, and budgetary oversight in India.
