In addition to the line expansion, the Airport Line’s operational train speed will increase to 120 kmph, making it the fastest metro corridor in the nation. Passengers would be able to travel from New Delhi Metro Station to the airport in 15 minutes and 30 seconds. It now requires 19 minutes. The opening of the new metro station in Dwarka Sector 25 would improve urban connectivity in the neighbourhood and make it easier for passengers to get to YashoBhoomi, the IICC’s convention centre.
