PM Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha Sets Guinness World Record With Highest Citizen Platform Registration

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship programme Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) has made it to the Guinness World Records. It earned the title for the ‘Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month’.

The record honours the 3.53 crore valid registrations during the 8th edition of PPC, hosted on the MyGov platform. The Ministry of Education and MyGov have jointly run this platform since 2018.

Pariksha Pe Charcha allows Prime Minister Modi to talk directly with students, parents, and teachers. He shares advice, motivation, and tips to reduce exam stress.

Since its launch, the programme has turned exam time into a phase of preparation and positivity.

Officials presented the Guinness certificate at a formal ceremony in New Delhi.

Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Jitin Prasada attended the event. So did Secretary Sanjay Kumar, MyGov CEO Nand Kumarum, and senior officials.

Rishi Nath, a Guinness World Records representative, officially announced the achievement.

Speaking at the event, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said PPC had become a national movement. He credited Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

He also noted that the 8th edition drew over 21 crore viewers in 2025. This, he said, reflected India’s commitment to inclusive and holistic education under the Viksit Bharat vision.

Meanwhile, Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw called PPC a powerful platform. He said it brought students, parents, and teachers together. The huge registrations, he added, showed the public’s trust in the programme.

Furthermore, Jitin Prasada praised MyGov. He said it used digital tools to make governance more participatory and inclusive. He also said Pariksha Pe Charcha had set a benchmark in public engagement.

Focus on Stress-Free Learning And Real Challenges

The programme aligns with the goals of the NEP 2020, which promotes stress-free and practical learning. It encourages students to avoid rote learning and build critical thinking and emotional strength.

During each session, Prime Minister Modi addresses common student problems. These include exam fear, digital distractions, and poor time management. He offers practical solutions and encouragement.

Since then, Pariksha Pe Charcha has grown into a nationwide movement. It views exams not as pressure, but as a chance for growth and self-expression.

Notably, the programme’s wide reach, digital format, and personal approach have made it a pillar of student engagement in India.
