Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday to launch a series of welfare-driven initiatives.
This occasion coincides with the Prime Minister’s birthday and underscores his commitment to tribal empowerment through the ‘Adi Seva Parv’ campaign.
The ‘Adi Seva Parv’ forms a cornerstone of the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan and highlights a deep-rooted respect for tribal heritage while driving national service.
The programme aims to bring holistic development to tribal communities, focusing on key areas such as health, education, nutrition, sanitation, water conservation, and environmental sustainability.
The initiative will unveil the ‘Tribal Village Action Plan’ and ‘Tribal Village Vision 2030′, designed to drive sustainable growth at the village level and align with long-term development goals.
In addition to the tribal welfare campaign, Prime Minister Modi will also kick-start the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ and the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah campaigns.
These initiatives, running from September 17 to October 2, aim to activate over one lakh health camps across the nation.
Targeting women and children, the campaign will offer screenings for anaemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell disease, along with a range of maternal, adolescent, and mental health services.
Specialist consultations in gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, and psychiatry will also be provided, supported by medical colleges and hospitals.
Additionally, blood donation drives and the promotion of holistic health services like Yoga and Ayurveda will be part of the ongoing health outreach.
Prime Minister Modi will transfer funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana to nearly ten lakh women. He will also launch the ‘Suman Sakhi Chatbot’ to provide accessible maternal health information to women in remote areas.
A symbolic gesture of gifting a sapling to a woman from a self-help group under the ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ initiative will further empower over 10,000 women to create community gardens.
In a landmark moment for the economy, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the PM MITRA Textile Park in Dhar.
Spanning 2,150 acres, the industrial township will revolutionise India’s textile sector.
With investment proposals worth Rs 23,140 crore and the potential to create three lakh jobs, this project will strengthen cotton farmers, promote exports, and align with PM Modi’s 5F vision – from farm to fibre, factory, fashion, and foreign.
