The 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was observed with widespread celebrations across Bihar on Wednesday, as BJP workers and NDA leaders paid tribute to his leadership through religious rituals, symbolic gestures, and public pledges.
In Patna, BJP workers assembled at Kali Ghat on the banks of the Ganga River to commence the day’s events.
Holding party flags and an oil painting of the Prime Minister, they conducted special rituals by anointing the painting with 75 kg of milk and holy Ganga water.
Party members performed aarti and then cut a ceremonial cake while praying for PM Modi’s long and healthy life.
Workers also pledged to secure 225 seats for the BJP-led alliance in the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections. They presented this pledge as a birthday gift to the Prime Minister.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar extended his greetings, wishing PM Modi a healthy and long life.
Taking to X, he posted, “On this auspicious occasion, heartfelt congratulations and best wishes once again to the honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji on his birthday.”
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary hailed PM Modi as the ‘Vishwakarma of modern India’, highlighting his unwavering determination and support for Bihar.
“He is a karmayogi whose strength uplifts the nation,” Choudhary added.
Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha also paid tribute, describing the Prime Minister as ‘the world’s most inspiring leader.’ He said PM Modi has significantly elevated India’s global stature and inspired the national mission of Viksit Bharat 2047.
Union MSME Minister and Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) patron Jitan Ram Manjhi joined the chorus of praise. He further applauded PM Modi’s firm handling of defence, economic reforms, and development initiatives.
“From targeting terror camps in Pakistan to making India the world’s fourth-largest economy, he has delivered on every front,” Manjhi said.
He further credited the Prime Minister with empowering the underprivileged through MSME-led development.
The BJP echoed the national sentiment by commemorating the Prime Minister’s birthday across Bihar with reverence, unity, and political resolve.
