PM Modi’s Baramati Visit On November 3: AI Institute, Prerna Sthal On Agenda

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Baramati on November 3 to inaugurate the newly developed Prerna Sthal at Vidya Pratishthan and unveil a four-tonne statue of Gautam Buddha, NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar said on Saturday.

Pawar said PM Modi’s office communicated the revised schedule after postponing the earlier October 24 visit.

Prime Minister Modi will reach Baramati airport at 10 AM and travel directly to the Vidya Pratishthan campus.

PM Modi will inaugurate Prerna Sthal and unveil the nine-foot Buddha statue installed at the site. He will then tour the surrounding art enclosure, which displays paintings of prominent social reformers and leaders, including Ahilyabai Holkar, Savitribai Phule, Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr BR Ambedkar and Yashwantrao Chavan.

Pawar said Prime Minister Modi will visit Vidya Pratishthan’s newly established Artificial Intelligence institute. He will view a technical presentation and interact with students working on AI projects and youth-led startups.

The main programme will begin at 11:45 AM.

Vice President Pravin Prabhune, Pawar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Prime Minister Modi will address the gathering.

PM Modi will conclude his Baramati programme at 12:10 PM and leave for his next engagement.

Pawar said the organisers invited Maharashtra Governor, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar, MPs Supriya Sule and Parth Pawar, Microsoft representatives, Oxford University officials, Serum Institute of India’s Cyrus Poonawalla, Bharat Forge’s Baba Kalyani, Vijay Shirke, Dr Anil Kakodkar and Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Ltd head Vivek Sawant.
