Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed students appearing for examinations during the latest episode of Mann Ki Baat, urging them to remain confident and not allow stress to overshadow their preparation.
Calling them ‘exam warriors’, he asked whether they were putting themselves under unnecessary pressure and reminded them that anxiety before examinations is natural.
He reassured students that every generation has faced similar doubts — from worrying about remembering answers to concerns about running out of time — and that they are not alone in these feelings.
Emphasising that marks do not define an individual’s worth, the Prime Minister encouraged students to trust themselves and write their examinations wholeheartedly.
He advised them not to dwell on a single difficult question but instead to concentrate on what they know and have prepared.
He also stressed the importance of open communication with parents and teachers, noting that they value effort and dedication more than marks.
Expressing confidence in the abilities of young learners, he said he was certain they would succeed and achieve new heights in life.
Referring to Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 held earlier this month, the Prime Minister said the initiative aims to help students channel their talents meaningfully.
Sharing his thoughts on the social media platform X, he remarked that India’s students possess extraordinary potential and can transform their dreams into reality through dedication and skill.
He also cited a Sanskrit subhashitam, explaining that a person equipped with knowledge, reasoning, scientific understanding, strong memory and sustained effort can overcome any obstacle.
Concluding his address, the Prime Minister urged students to stay positive, believe in their abilities and approach their examinations with determination and calmness.
