Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced his tour of Uttar Pradesh by inaugurating 15 airports across the nation from Azamgarh. Among these, 15 airport infrastructure projects completed at a cost of ₹9,811 crore were showcased alongside numerous other projects worth thousands of crores dedicated to the public.
Bharatiya Janata Party MLA, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, extolled Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the inauguration ceremony. He hailed PM Modi as the “Yugapravart Karmayogi,” the flag bearer of self-reliant India, and the conductor of Antyodaya. Dr. Rajeshwar Singh expressed his gratitude for the development of 15 airport infrastructure projects across the country, valuing ₹ 9,811 crore, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

Dr. Rajeshwar Singh emphasized the pivotal role of Prime Minister Modi in propelling Uttar Pradesh towards achieving a 1 trillion dollar economy. The inauguration and foundation laying of 782 development projects worth ₹ 34,700 crore are expected to expedite the state’s development journey. These projects, dedicated to the people of Uttar Pradesh, align with the resolve of ‘Developed Uttar Pradesh’ under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Azamgarh, several senior leaders including Defense Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh, Union Minister of State and Mohanlalganj MP Kaushal Kishore, Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, and numerous Legislative Council members graced the inauguration program, reflecting the collective commitment towards the state’s development.
