PM Modi To Visit Sonipat On October 17 To Inaugurate Key Development Projects In Haryana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Sonipat, Haryana, on October 17 to inaugurate several key development projects.

The Prime Minister’s visit will actively drive the state’s growth and reinforce the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat – Viksit Haryana’.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini held a high-level meeting in Chandigarh on Friday to review preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit. Senior officers from various departments ensured efficient completion of all arrangements during the meeting.

During the review, Chief Minister Saini directed officials to complete all preparations in a time-bound and coordinated manner. He emphasised that authorities should finalise the programme’s schedule, route plan, security measures, and crowd management strategy at the earliest.

He further instructed authorities to ensure the public faces no inconvenience while reaching the venue.

The Chief Minister also reviewed how departments progressed on the projects scheduled for inauguration or foundation stone laying during the event.

Haryana’s Growth Under PM Modi’s Leadership

Highlighting Haryana’s achievements over the past decade, Chief Minister Saini said the state has made remarkable progress under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

He credited the success to the effective implementation of Central schemes and welfare-driven state policies that have created a transparent administrative system and an investor-friendly environment.

Saini added that Haryana now stands among India’s leading states in terms of investment, infrastructure, and governance.

The Chief Minister described the upcoming visit as a matter of pride for the state and a significant milestone in its development journey. He noted that the combined efforts of the Central and state governments have accelerated infrastructure growth, leading to increased employment, investment, and civic facilities.

According to an official statement, the Prime Minister’s visit will further strengthen the Central government’s commitment to Haryana’s progress.

Senior officials, including Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, Chief Principal Secretary to the CM Rajesh Khullar, and Additional Chief Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) Sudhir Rajpal, were present during the review meeting.
