PM Modi To Launch Gujarat Projects Worth Rs 14,000 Crore; Release Rs 19,000 Crore Under PM-KISAN

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch and inaugurate development projects worth over Rs 14,000 crore in Gujarat’s Banaskantha district on Friday. He will release around Rs 19,000 crore under the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme.

PM Modi will visit Banaskantha and Ekta Nagar on October 30 and 31. He will further attend development programmes and celebrations marking the 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

In Banaskantha, the Prime Minister will dedicate the Bharat Bovine Breeding and Research Centre at Bhildi. Spread across 127 acres, the facility will focus on Kankrej cattle breeding, genetic improvement and advanced reproductive technologies. He will further lay the foundation stones for two Banas Dairy Bio-CNG plants at Tharad and Radhanpur.

The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for Ahmedabad Metro Phase-2 extensions towards the airport and GIFT City. He will launch the upgrade of Ahmedabad-Mehsana Road from four to eight lanes at an estimated cost of Rs 2,600 crore.

PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for 4,030 child-friendly Anganwadi centres and inaugurate 361 completed centres. He will dedicate 521 Agriculture Infrastructure Fund projects worth around Rs 4,950 crore. He will further flag off two train services and launch activities under 12 horticulture clusters covering 1.46 lakh hectares.

On October 30, PM Modi will inaugurate Bharat Parv 2026 at Ekta Nagar. The festival will, however, showcase India’s cultural diversity through November 15.

On October 31, the Prime Minister will pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity and launch projects worth over Rs 400 crore. He will then attend Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations, which will feature security force parades and cultural performances under the theme ‘Vande Mataram’.

A theatrical presentation on ‘Naxal Mukt Bharat’ will feature around 2,000 artists from 126 districts affected by Left-Wing Extremism.
