PM Modi To Meet Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, BJP MLAs In Delhi On October 3

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, state BJP President Archana Gupta and all BJP MLAs in New Delhi on October 3.

The meeting will focus on political and organisational matters in Haryana and neighbouring states.

The interaction comes as the BJP reviews its organisational preparedness and political activities ahead of upcoming electoral challenges.

Sources said discussions could cover preparations for the Punjab Assembly elections and the Opposition’s campaign over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

The meeting comes amid criticism from the Opposition INDIA bloc of the Election Commission of India and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the SIR exercise. BJP leaders will discuss the political response to the issue.

All 48 BJP MLAs in Haryana’s 90-member Assembly are expected to attend.

Reports said the legislators will meet Saini and Gupta before proceeding to the Prime Minister’s official residence.

Prime Minister Modi has reportedly allotted two hours for the interaction.

The Prime Minister will hear legislators’ feedback on Haryana’s political situation, welfare schemes and organisational concerns.

The BJP’s recent organisational changes add significance to the meeting.

Former Union Minister Smriti Irani has replaced Satish Poonia as the party’s Haryana in-charge.

The BJP has intensified its activities in Punjab ahead of the Assembly polls. The party has highlighted drug-related concerns, law and order and security as key campaign issues.
