Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his birthday with a visit to Bhainsola village in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, where he will lay the foundation stone for India’s first PM MITRA Park.
The project aims to strengthen the textile sector and forms part of seven planned hubs across the nation under the PM MITRA scheme.
Alongside this, PM Modi will launch two nationwide programmes:
Both initiatives aim to improve health and nutrition services, particularly for women, children, and adolescents.
Between 17 September and 2 October, more than one lakh health camps will be organised, in what will be India’s largest outreach drive of its kind.
These camps will deliver a wide range of women-focused services, from screenings for anaemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell disease to maternal and adolescent check-ups, immunisations, and nutrition advice.
Public and private medical institutions will mobilise specialists in gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, psychiatry, ENT, and other fields.
Blood donation drives will also take place, with participants connected through the e-Raktkosh portal and the MyGov platform.
Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will join the Prime Minister.
During the visit, PM Modi will also transfer financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, directly benefitting nearly 10 lakh women across India.
In addition, the Suman Sakhi Chatbot will be launched to provide rural and remote communities with reliable maternal and child health guidance.
As part of the ‘Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan’, PM Modi will inaugurate the ‘Adi Seva Parv’, a campaign centred on tribal welfare.
This includes the distribution of the one croreth sickle cell screening and counselling card in Madhya Pradesh, with focus areas spanning health, education, sanitation, livelihood, and the environment.
Promoting both green practices and women’s empowerment, he will hand over a sapling under the ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ initiative to a beneficiary from a self-help group.
More than 10,000 women will help create ‘Maa Ki Bagiya’ gardens across the state, equipped with resources for plant care and protection.
The day will conclude with PM Modi addressing a large public gathering, underscoring the government’s commitment to industrial development, inclusive health, and nutrition goals.
