PM Modi To Launch BJP’s Mega Membership Drive

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) massive membership drive on Monday. He will become the party’s first member, receiving his certificate from BJP President JP Nadda this evening.

Launch of ‘Sangathan Parv – Sadasyata Abhiyaan 2004’

The BJP’s extensive organizational campaign is named ‘Sangathan Parv – Sadasyata Abhiyaan 2004’. PM Modi is expected to use the missed call option to join the party. Following his enrollment, many senior party leaders will also register, marking the start of this two-month drive.

The BJP, the world’s largest political party, has provided a phone number, 8800002024, for those who wish to join by missed call. Additionally, the NaMo App offers another way to obtain or renew party membership.

Membership Drive Details

BJP National Secretary Vinod Tawde recently explained the purpose of the drive, which occurs every five to six years. He noted that all existing party members must renew their membership during this period.

Tawde outlined the drive’s phases: the first phase runs from September 2 to September 25, while the second phase will start a week later and end on October 15. He also mentioned that the BJP became the world’s largest party in 2014, surpassing China’s Communist Party, and noted that Covid-19 had shortened the 2019 drive.

During Amit Shah’s tenure as party president, the BJP reached over 11 crore members. The 2019 drive saw participation from more than 7 crore people.

Call for Success from UP CM

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has urged BJP workers to ensure the drive’s success. He described it as a movement to unite citizens under the spirit of ‘Nation First’.

On X, CM Yogi wrote, “The BJP’s membership drive is a movement to connect individuals with the spirit of Nation First, the resolve to serve the people, and the vision of ‘Developed India – Self-reliant India’.”

He urged BJP workers to reach every household and family, ensuring comprehensive participation. He concluded, “Let us make this national task successful with full energy and commitment, embodying the mantra of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas’ given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ensure no house, person, or class is left out. Long live Mother India!”
