Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan on his 75th birthday, 17 September 2025, in Madhya Pradesh.
The campaign aims to strengthen healthcare delivery for women and children across India through a wide-reaching network of health camps and awareness drives.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda took to social media to announce the initiative, stating that the government will organise 75,000 health camps at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centres (CHCs), and other public healthcare facilities.
The camps will offer preventive care, screenings, maternal health services, and awareness on nutrition and hygiene, specifically targeting women and children.
“The initiative will ensure better access, quality care, and awareness, while strengthening the government’s vision of inclusive healthcare,” Nadda said in his post.
Running from 17 September to 2 October, the campaign will coincide with Poshan Maah at Anganwadi centres across the country.
The nutrition month is expected to amplify the message of health and well-being, particularly for mothers and children.
Minister Nadda emphasised that the twin initiatives aim to empower families and build healthier communities, noting the critical role of nutrition and early healthcare intervention in long-term development.
The Union Minister urged private hospitals and healthcare stakeholders to actively participate in this Jan Bhagidaari (public participation) campaign, framing it as a national movement under the vision of ‘India First’ and Viksit Bharat.
“With India First as our inspiration, let us strengthen our collective efforts for a healthier and empowered nation,” he added.
Alongside the health campaign, PM Modi will also attend the Bhoomi Pujan of the PM MITRA Textile Park in Badnawar, Madhya Pradesh.
Moreover, the government has developed the project over 2,158 acres, completing the first textile park under the MITRA scheme to boost domestic manufacturing and employment in the textile sector.
The launch of the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan reflects the government’s broader commitment to women-led development, equitable healthcare, and community-driven progress.
As PM Modi reaches a personal milestone, the campaign reaffirms his administration’s focus on accessible health services and grassroots outreach.
