PM Modi To Inaugurate Six-Lane Bridge During November 21 Visit To Bihar’s Vaishali

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar’s Vaishali district on November 21 and inaugurate a six-lane bridge, officials said on Thursday.

The proposed visit comes ahead of the NDA government’s first anniversary in Bihar. The ruling alliance will organise a special programme on November 20 to celebrate the milestone.

NDA leaders held a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence to discuss preparations for the anniversary celebrations and the Prime Minister’s visit. Representatives of all NDA constituent parties attended the meeting. They discussed the programme schedule, organisational arrangements and security requirements.

After the meeting, Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi said that leaders had discussed the preparations needed to ensure the success of PM Modi’s visit.

Saraogi later inspected the proposed event venue with local leaders, including MLA Awadhesh Singh, Lalganj MLA Sanjay Singh and Rajapakar MLA Mahendra Ram.

Meanwhile, a senior administrative team inspected the proposed venue near Bahsi village in Vaishali’s Rajapakar Assembly constituency on Thursday.

The inspection team included Bihar Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, Director General of Police (DGP) Preeta Verma, senior police officials, District Magistrate Varsha Singh and the Superintendent of Police.

Officials reviewed security arrangements, the proposed helipad, stage construction, barricading and traffic management. They also assessed logistical requirements to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme.

Speaking to the media, District Magistrate Varsha Singh confirmed that PM Modi was expected to inaugurate the six-lane bridge during his visit.

The visit holds political significance for the NDA as the Bihar government prepares to complete its first year in office.
