Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 10th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026 in New Delhi on Thursday, October 8, and address participants.
The Department of Telecommunications and the Cellular Operators Association of India are jointly organising the four-day event from October 7 to 10 under the theme ‘Scale Without Boundaries’.
The theme highlights India’s growing capabilities in digital innovation, next-generation connectivity and technology-driven growth.
The event will centre on four pillars — Srishti (Building the Future), Samvardhan (Fueling Growth), Sashakt (Expanding Opportunities) and Suraksha (Strengthening Trust).
IMC 2026 will showcase next-generation digital infrastructure, technology-led growth, inclusive digital access and secure digital ecosystems. It will bring together global technology leaders, policymakers, industry experts, startups, investors and innovators.
The 2026 edition will cover 5G and 6G, AI networks, semiconductors, non-terrestrial networks, cybersecurity, quantum communication, enterprise transformation, circular economy, ESG and electronics manufacturing.
It will also explore smart mobility, stadium experiences, industrial robotics and transport technology.
The government expects more than 1.5 lakh attendees from over 100 countries, along with more than 500 partners and exhibitors, 600 startups and 900 thought leaders.
IMC 2026 will host over 120 sessions and showcase more than 2,000 technology use cases, highlighting innovations shaping the global digital ecosystem.
The event will strengthen India’s focus on digital infrastructure and emerging technologies, while discussions will explore opportunities in connectivity, AI, electronics manufacturing and other sectors driving digital growth.
