PM Modi To Hoist Symbolic Sun-Emblem Flag At Ram Janmabhoomi

,Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ayodhya on Tuesday for the ceremonial flag-hoisting at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, marking a historic occasion for devotees across the world.

The Prime Minister is expected to reach the temple premises at around 9.30 AM, and local residents say the moment fulfils a dream they have cherished for centuries.

Officials will hoist a specially crafted flag, measuring 22 feet by 11 feet, atop the 161-foot-high summit of the Ram Temple.

A parachute specialist from Ahmedabad has engineered the two-to-three-kilogram flag to withstand the height and structural conditions of the temple.

The flag features the Sun symbol, representing Lord Rama’s Suryavanshi lineage and divine radiance.

The organisers will not permit guests attending the ceremony to carry mobile phones inside the temple premises, ensuring the sanctity and smooth conduct of the historic event.

A Momentous Gathering

Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, confirmed that the flag-hoisting ceremony will take place in the presence of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The organisers have invited thousands of saints from eastern Uttar Pradesh, and they expect around 7,000 people to attend the ‘Dhwaj’ hoisting ceremony.

Gopal Rao, a special invitee of the Trust, explained that a ‘havan’ has been underway in the Yagna Mandap for the past four days in preparation for today’s event.

Approximately 100 priests are performing the rituals, while 30 individuals are taking part in ceremonies at multiple locations.

Residents of Ayodhya describe 25 November as a day of immense pride for followers of Sanatan Dharma worldwide.

Many believe that the construction and consecration of the Ram Temple represent not only a profound religious milestone but also a defining moment for India’s cultural identity.

Additionally, a Local resident, Gyanprakash Dubey, told IANS that the event marks ‘a major moment’ for devotees across the world. He added, “As long as the Ram Temple stands, Prime Minister Modi’s name will remain immortal alongside it. The development in Ayodhya is extraordinary.”

PM Modi’s visit and the ceremonial hoisting of the flag symbolise the culmination of an epoch-making chapter in India’s spiritual and cultural journey.

The event will further enhance Ayodhya’s growing prominence as a global centre of Sanatan heritage and pilgrimage.
